It comes with a 12"x5" green plastic foam pad that is firmly cemented to the back of flat aluminum. Its aluminum support is lightweight yet strong for use on any sandy surface Its smooth wooden handle is well balanced to provide a comfortable grip and the cushion is 1 inch thick to leave room for considerable wear before being replaced.
