Energite III crash attenuators work together to create a gating, non-redirective barrier system of sand-filled units. Each 700 lb. module consists of one yellow barrel, one black, tight-fitting lid, and one cone insert. Cone insert modulates sand level and center of mass. The one-piece barrel design is tested to both NCHRP Report 350 and MASH 2016 Test Level 3. Sand used to fill must conform to ASTM C-33. 700 lb. capacity, dimensions are 28” x 36” x 36”.
